Proposals

We are promoting a new garden village, Fulford Green, through the Local Plan process for residential-led mixed use development.

For further information, please read the vision for Fulford Green by Lord Matthew Taylor (author of the Garden Communities policies adopted by government and chair of West Carclaze Eco-Community in Cornwall) and visit the LDN Collective for a more in-depth commentary by our design team of our proposals and watch our webinar session The Voice of Authority: How can we make sure new places are sustainable? with panel members Richard Kimblin QC of No5 Barristers Chambers, Mary Morrisey of Solihull Metropolitan Council and Max Farrell of LDN Collective for a presentation of Fulford Green as a case study for sustainable placemaking.

Current status

We have previously developed a number of supporting and evidential documents to support our proposals, which are currently being updated to integrate our most recent masterplan for Fulford Green. Supporting documents include a Greenbelt, Landscape and Masterplanning Report, Transport Mobility Strategy and Vision Document, which have all been submitted as part of representations through the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council Local Plan Review consultation process.
