Site and context

The site is approximately 0.4 hectares (0.9 acres) and is located on Farranlea Road in the Victoria Cross area of Cork, which is equidistant to University College Cork and Cork Institute of Technology. The surrounding area is predominantly residential with numerous educational amenities nearby.

Proposals

Our scheme comprises a three storey, 141-bed PBSA development.

Current status

We were granted planning consent by An Bord Pleanala in July 2017. Round Hill Capital subsequently acquired and developed the scheme, which launched in late 2020. 

The building is called Curraheen Point and managed by Nido Student, Round Hill’s operational platform and brand for European student accommodation.
