Site and context

The site comprises agricultural land situated in the green belt within Solihull Metropolitan Borough close to Tidbury Green located 7 miles south of central Birmingham with proximity to existing railway stations at Earlswood, Wythall and The Lakes; providing direct links to Birmingham.

Proposals

Following withdrawal of the Local Plan by SMBC in October 2024 and recent proposed changes to national planning policy by the Labour Government, we are actively reviewing our proposals and strategy for the site.

At present, we are conducting further technical studies and are in the process of engaging with stakeholders to help shape our new vision for the site.

Current status

We have submitted the site to the Council's Call for sites consultation for their new Local Plan in January 2025. We anticipate sharing further updates as we engage with stakeholders and progress plans for the site.
