Summix Helps Launch National PBSA Council

Summix is proud to be a founding member of the newly established PBSA Council of Ireland, a collaborative national initiative designed to strengthen the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation sector.

Representing over 70% of Ireland’s student housing capacity, the Council will advocate for high standards, sustainability, and affordability — ensuring that student accommodation continues to play a vital role in supporting education and communities across the country.

Through our involvement, Summix reaffirms its commitment in tackling Ireland’s housing challenges. By working alongside government, universities, and local partners, we aim to support affordability, accelerate delivery, and make a meaningful contribution to vibrant, inclusive communities.

Niamh O’Connor has been appointed a Founding Committee Member and is joining Colm Lauder (Lauder Teacher), Ciarán McIntyre (Elkstone), Paul Mitchell (McDermott) Jean O’Neil (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland), Shane Scully (Eagle Street Partners), John Jacobs & Aaron Bailey (GSA).
